Providing people with beautiful, artistic photographs is what I love to do.

Art, and more specifically photography, has always been a central part of my life. As the daughter of an esteemed watercolor artist, creativity and exploration of the arts were always encouraged in my household. I found my niche when I received my first Polaroid camera as a child. I instantly took to the medium and continued to follow that passion at the University of Michigan, earning a BFA in Photography in 2000. My work revolves around the idea that each photo can be a genuine work of art, using light and composition as my instruments. I create authentic, uncontrived photographs of events, portraits and weddings through a candid and photojournalistic approach.

Being comfortable with your photographer is an indispensable quality a client cannot overlook. At your wedding, you’ll feel at ease with my presence, which will allow the perfect shots to materialize. For portraits, I shoot on location at your home, your neighborhood park, my home studio or wherever your child/family feels the most at ease. As a mother, I also understand how children need breaks during a shoot; it’s a relaxed environment that allows us to get the most smiles out of your child.

Photographing any event comes with a great deal of responsibility, as those photographs allow you to share your most cherished memories with generations to come. It is my wish to leave you with a wide selection of creative, striking photographs that you and your family will treasure and enjoy for many years.
